Components:

Motherboard: X570 Aorus Pro Wifi

CPU: Ryzen 9 3900X

GPU: RX-580 8GB MSI Armor(Temporary)

PSU: Corsair Rm850x

RAM: Gskill Trident Z 32GB 3200MHZ Dual Kit.

Hi,

My Motherboard won't post and there are no beeps either. The CPU fan is spinning and lighting up, RAM Sticks are lighting up too but there's no display. GPU fans weren't spinning but reason could also be that since they are 'Zero Frozr' fans and don't spin when the load is low which is why I'm not sure. I removed the GPU and plugged in the HDMI directly to the Motherboard and still no post nor beeps.

I don't know if it's the CPU, Motherboard or PSU. I took out the CPU and checked for bent pins but there aren't any. I'm really confused. I'd really appreciate any kind of help.

Thanks.

for the beeps, some motherboard dont have the beeps.

for the no post check if there are any debug lights at all on the board. Please do the following:

check the cpu for bent pins, take a look at your memory and look up the model number to make sure it is compatible with ryzen.

PC specs:

Ryzen 9 3900X overclocked to 4.3-4.4 GHz

Corsair H100i platinum

32 GB Trident Z RGB 3200 MHz 14-14-14-34

RTX 2060

MSI MPG X570 Gaming Edge wifi

NZXT H510

Samsung 860 EVO 500GB

2 TB WD hard drive

Corsair RM 750 Watt

ASUS ROG PG248Q

Razer Ornata Chroma

Razer Firefly

Razer Deathadder 2013

You wont get any video output with that CPU from your motherboard because its not an APU. How long did you let it sit before turning it off? It could be doing memory training. I know my system takes a while to get any video output when it is retraining memory.

Main Rig:

Ryzen 2600, ASUS Corsshair Hero VII Wi-Fi, 16 GB Geil DDR4 3000 @ 3200, XFX RX 580 @ 1425/2250, Corsair H115i Pro AIO cooler, Soundblaster Z, ADATA SX8200 1tb, Samsung 850 EVO 500gb, Corsair CX850M PSU, Coolermaster Stryker case, ROG ARGB strips (most important thing)

HTPC:

Dell SFF Optiplex 990, i7 2600, 8gb of random ddr3, GTX 1650 LP, ADATA 240gb SSD, 1tb random spinny HDD (no RGB 😭)

Hi,

Thanks for the response. You're right. I'm so dumb that I missed that. There are 4 Red LEDs for CPU, DRAM, VGA and BOOT respectively. There's a Red light on the CPU.

Should I go for a replacement or am I to do something?

There aren't any. The CPU was probably dead out of the box.

I order to get post beeps, you need to plug in the little speaker on the FP.

Looks like this. Do you have one?

You can pick these up on E-bay for a few dollars only. Perhaps an old PC in the closet might have one. A local PC shop probably has them.

Get this little speaker so you can further diag your rig. Otherwise it'll be mostly guessing.

Then you can look up the post codes either at the owners manual or here at LTT I can give you a link just ask.

I'll order one. I'd like the LTT link as it would help out a ton. Thanks so much.

Hi @ShrimpBrime, I plugged in the Beep Buzzers and just to be sure, I replaced my CPU with a new one. Same issue, CPU fan is spinning, RAM RGB is on, Red CPU Debug LED and no Beep Codes. I've reset the CMOS and have also tried using 1 RAM Stick at a time on different slots as well. Should I Q-Flash to a new BIOS? or is my motherboard dead?

I would try a bios flash first before calling the board dead.

If all else fails, warranty the board. That sucks Im sorry.
