you could go with an rx 570 or 580 or 980 or 1050 if you really have a tight budget.

if you have much more money you could step up to a 16 series card

Define "way better"

It's around the same performance

And has the same frame buffer size and bandwidth etc

No not really

Also it's not cheaper

I own a gtx 1050ti I've also seen benchmarks for the 1650 and I witnessed major difference between then 1650 benchmark and my gtx 1050ti so no the same performance.  In my country it is 35 usd cheaper. GTX 1050ti is not recommended as the 1650.

here is a benchmark and obviously the 1650 is doing better than the 1050ti

You could have mistaken a 1650 gddr6 or a super with this one

But a 1650 is only a slight improvement over the 1050ti

At this level of performance, it's noticeably better. It gets much closer to the golden 60fps mark in the tests @SHADFAN linked, whereas the 1050 Ti is around 38-40fps in most of them. The difference between 40 and 60fps is usually very noticeable, though there are a few games that still feel smooth-ish when in the 30-40s.
