So I recently got the help of you guys to put together a new pc.

to a local PC-Shop asking if they would be able to match the prices and put it together for me (because I am paranoid to fuck it up). They responded recommending to change some parts. In part because the case had a port the motherboard didn't have(USB C) and Nvidia > AMD.

I dotn think so. htey put much worse psu and gpu, worse ssd and too overkill motherboard. mayby they just want your money?

I wanna say it's a downgrade, tough the Nvidia change might be due to them fearing you will try to RMA the card. Some people have had issues with drivers and instead of installing a older more stable driver they blame the card and RMA it... 🤔

First list is spot on. Their list is awful. The reasoning that Nvidia is better than AMD may be true in some cases, but not when the card they recommend you is significantly slower than the AMD option. And paying €130 more for a motherboard just so you get type c...that's ridiculous.

well 1660 super is much worse than rx 5700. Atleast get rtx 2060 super.

Motherboard tier list. Tier A for overclocking 5950x. Tier B for overclocking 5900x, Tier C for overclocking 5800X. Tier D for overclocking 5600X. Tier F for 4/6 core Cpus at stock. Tier E avoid.

no need for x570 the b450 tomahawk max is much better for the price

Pretty much almost everything is worse to fare worse. You are getting a lot less for a lot more money.
