Best Way to Learn Making/Coding Websites

So I've been learning HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I pretty much understand how it works, now, how would I practice using those languages to make websites?

Should I use something like Wix/Squarespace or code from scratch?

There’s probably a better way, but I used notepad++ and made some fake websites from scratch.

I am far from an expert in this so please correct me if I’m wrong.

Do you use any plugins, or recommend any?

I don’t use any and honestly did know there were any for it until now, so I can’t recommend any. I did however use w3schools.com whenever I forgot anything.

if you want to actually learn, i recommend against a website builder.

i personally taught myself. i thought of what i wanted, and i researched how to do it. w3schools is an excellent resource. make some fake websites for yourself for fun.
