Need a great wireless Mouse (pls send me your opinions) Appreciate it...

Alex-Tech Dojo

Hey guys,

So i wanna cut my cord and get a great wireless gaming mouse... (though im not a enthusiast gamer, nor casual, doing a lot of productivity)

But whatever, im thinking on getting the Logitech G Pro Wireless...
I like the minimalistic look but i just want to know from you guys if i should get it (i know the g pro has been dethroned by the viper ultimate, but i cant palm it i use the palm grip)

Pls send me your opinions

Greately appreciated

I went for the G703 myself, as it was a direct replacement for the corded version I used before. Used with the PowerPlay charging pad I don't need to remember to charge it.

Main system: i9-7980XE, Asus X299 TUF mark 2, Noctua D15, Corsair Vengeance Pro 3200 3x 16GB 2R, RTX 3070, NZXT E850, GameMax Abyss, Samsung 980 Pro 2TB, Acer Predator XB241YU 24" 1440p 144Hz G-Sync + HP LP2475w 24" 1200p 60Hz wide gamut
Gaming laptop: Lenovo Legion 5, 5800H, RTX 3070, Kingston DDR4 3200C22 2x16GB 2Rx8, Kingston Fury Renegade 1TB + Crucial P1 1TB SSD, 165 Hz IPS 1080p G-Sync Compatible

if you are looking to palm it then the mx master is a palm-able mouse, it can be used for casual gaming (not that i recommend it, especially when playing fps)

If it is of interest, it doesn't have to be bought at the same time, but you could add it later on if you feel like it. (assuming the mouse you're looking at is supported, I've not checked)

Logitech wireless mice double click within 12-18 months.  They don't run enough voltage to protect the switch contacts from oxidizing.  Don't recommend.  I returned my $150 g502 Lightspeed for double clicking in 6 months.

I ended up buying a Glorious Model D and I'm over both wireless and "heavy" mice.    I miss the smooth logitech scroll wheel action but literally everything else about glorious is better.

If you want something productivity based, get a corded Logitech.

In my Region (Switzerland... Logitech  a swiss company) , Logitech started a refresh of the GPW... completely removing the doubleclick problem... the Model D is too large for me and ik, the model d- is coming but.... ill stick to the GPW... my desk is crowded with things and having a wireless mouse is refreshing

Primarily, i was spilt between GPW and VU and everyone was saying... OOO VU dethroned GPW here and there... and tbh i dont need 20.000 DPI or a charging dock for 190€...
And i just wanted to know if the gpw is still a good pick in 2020
(It is the 2nd best wirelesss mouse after VU after all)

ANd the GPW is discounted right new (the new model is 99€)

i wouldnt say  that the viper "dethroned" the GPW, it is still a great mouse and is used by multiple pros. if the GPW fits you better, there is no reason to pick the viper over it.

I have both the GPW and the Viper so I can answer any questions you might have. Both are really good, so no matter which one you pick, you can't go wrong. If you play palm grip (as you said you do), I'd probably get the G Pro Wireless as it has a noticeably bigger hump so it is more comfortable for palm. (The Viper is very low profile, similar to a Zowie FK1)

TBH, the cheaper one is probably the best buy, since in terms of performance they are identical.
