Never heard of 640p...

Anyways, I use 1600x900 + 1080p display for my laptop/desktop + 1280x768 for my android which controls it all when I am too lazy to leave my bed.

2560x1440p on a 1920x1080p 27" lcd panel.

Desktop Res is 1080p, but Gaming is done at 2560x1440p

I see you overclocked or whatever you call your monitor, I saw the turorial how to do that on the forum the other day.

Yep, 2560x1440p Downsampled to 1080p is bad for the desktop, great for gaming...there is an AMD method, and a Nvidia Method, both different, Works great.

New goal is to buy a 120/144hz 1080p panel and push the 1440p hopefully faster than 60hz, if not 1080p @ higher hz

Re-iterating for the thread

27" 1080p Phillips 273ELH

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

1920x1080 @ 24 inches.  I'd like another monitor for workflow and glancing at twitter while gaming, but I think I'll stick with 1920x1080.  I don't want to run the risk of not running everything at 60fps with AA. :P

And then there's my 1366x768 laptop...
