Destiny 2 problems

Marvel
Go to solution Solved by Fatih19,

I suspect the i3 to be the source of the stutter. Some games today use more than 4 threads.

So I recently got a 1660 super paired with 16gb i3 8100 plans to upgrade cpu in the future. For some reason when i get over 72 fps in destiny 2 its just major stuttering to the point that its unplayable. I am aware that an i3 8100 is not great for the gpu paired with it but only destiny 2 i could really use some help.

Try lowering settings- or resolution to see if it happens anyway

that doesn't do anything its not really a fps issue but its so unplayable. Its just odd idk if the game is just poorly optimized or what. My friend has a 1660ti and i5 9400f and punches out around 144 fps. I know that the 1660 super and ti are about the same so it really bothers me.

I know it doesn't solve the problem per se, but worst case can't you just set the fps to go no higher than 70?

It's still very playable at that fps, and at least you won't have such a frustrating experience?
