Use WD Black SN750 as boot drive or other?

So I have an SN750, 500GB, and currently I am running my OS off a Kingston 250GB Sata SSD. I am wondering if I should be using the SN750 as my new OS drive, or if I should use it as drive for a studio application that has to fetch a lot of resources and then video process using adobe premier. If I use an NVME SSD for games and stuff, will their speed be limited by the OS SSD? What should I be using this SN750 for?

I would continue to use the kingston as your boot because there is not a largely noticeable difference between sata and nvme ssds. Also, it will allow you to keep all your footage on one drive.

I personally use my fastest SSD for my boot drive and anything else that needs to be fetched quickly. Your sata SSD is going to be a lot slower, but will still be super fast. I'd make your SN750 your OS drive, I would also keep your editing software on the faster SN750. Keep your programs on the faster drive and your files on the slower drive.
