64 bit windows but everything I download is 32 bit.

I have 64 bit windows 10 but everything I download is automatically downloading in 32 bit versions. Does anybody know why?

This is normal not every program has a 64 bit version. No need to worry about it.

Most software that is basic simply comes in a 32 bit version. Things like game launchers don't really need a 64 bit implementation.

As mentioned above, lots of fairly basic software don't need a 64-bit implementation, so they're just 32-bit.

Windows 10 64-bit can run both 32-bit and 64-bit applications, unlike other OSes like macOS for example (particularly the latest iteration, 10.15) which can only run 64-bit.

Sometimes 64bit version is optional on website. Because 32 bit version works on both - 32 and 64 bit system and 64 bit version works only on 64 bit system, website gives you default link to 32 bit version and optionally you can find link to 64 bit (but you must find it, not clicking on big DOWNLOAD button). For some time that was in case browsers (few years ago) and OpenOffice and probably some other programs when website do not detect os version.
