Dead CPU or dead Mobo?

Hi

I've recently bought a new Z270-p motherboard for my 6700K processor, and when I try to turn on my computer the fans spin up for a short while and then nothing happens, it just cuts off again.

Are there any debug LED's lighting up? Or maybe debug codes?

Make sure everything is seated

Make sure there isn't any Bent pins on the socket 

Clear the cmos 

Try with one stick at a time

No such thing as debug LED's on this Mobo

make sure Audio or USB pins are connected, many old boards have a debug code beep set like my old DH77KC, and it may be your bios telling the thing its not hot enough to kick the fans on depending on the pinout you selected for each fan

Speakers and USB-pins are connected

I've switched to my old Mobo and same thing happens
