Do not pair a 6700 with a 2080 ti. That just dump.

10600 with a 2080 ti would killer. 

If going to keep the 6700 the best would be no more than 2070. 

But the best upgrade would be ditching the 6700

Mate who talked about value and perf/$? OP has unlimited budget

and in any game an i7 6700 will do fine powering a 2080 Ti because realistically you will be GPU bound before CPU unless you go for 240 FPS competitive settings. Heck I'd recommend a Titan RTX if it was any better gaming performance vs 2080 Ti.

it isn't filled in.

not in many current games at lower res. 1080p a 6700 will be a bottleneck 4k not likely

that doesn't mean its unlimited. and there really isn't enough info like what games to push us in an upgrade path

I just recommend the best gaming GPU on the market which is 2080 Ti hands down. Having no info about display resolution, games and FPS targets we can only speculate. i agree with you on that one.
