You don't need to. If you can create a flash drive with Windows 10 on it, you can just use that to install Windows onto the computer. You can technically use Windows 10 for free - you'll just lose out on customization options, but all functional components will be usable.

I just wanted to tell you (if you haven't bought the parts yet) that there are some things you can do to get better gaming performance or cut prices without cutting quality. (ryzen 3 3100, 1660 super/2060super, phanteks p300a, or p400a if you dont want to put in extra fans)

Is there anything else that anyone would recommend I change. I really want to get a good PC for my first build, but also budget friendly.

This is the final list that I have come up with. Quick question, does the Ryzen 3 3100 come with a CPU cooler or should I get one separately?
