Perfect, Freesync is cheaper so here are your options:

https://pcpartpicker.com/products/monitor/#r=192001080&D=240000,280000&sort=price&G=400000000000,3000000000000&A=3,2

I'd personally get the:

https://pcpartpicker.com/product/JgCFf7/asus-tuf-gaming-vg279qm-270-1920x1080-280-hz-monitor-vg279qm

OR

https://pcpartpicker.com/product/jFxbt6/lg-27gn750-b-270-1920x1080-240-hz-monitor-27gn750-b

IPS panels are a lot better IMO.

But slower, no? Even if they say "1ms" I imagine they are using some kind of overdrive and there will be blurring. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Looks like the same specs as this BenQ

I can't speak to this specific monitor, but BenQ is a good brand in general. Where-as Alienware is just more expensive Dell.

Not really it would be pretty well indistinguishable. At higher refresh rate panel often does not get any lower than 1ms regardless.

I think you miss my meaning. To my knowledge, IPS pixels are fundamentally slower than TN pixels. Often, manufacturers use overdrive techniques to cheese their numbers so that the monitor technically responds in 1ms, but you actually get overshoot or inverse ghosting, even on some TN panels. So the experience is not as good. See here:

I know what you mean, but between input lag and response time they are going to be pretty well identical:

Well more spent does not ad much more performance, the best high response option is:
