RX5700 XT Sapphire Nitro+ LOW FPS

Hey guys, so I got this card as part of my build I recently did, and IM noticing low FPS in games that I was playing before with my old 1050ti, and 4770 Alienware.

 

With that old build I was getting 30-50FPS with Rust, and with this new 3600 Ryzen 5, 32GB 3200mhz ram and the card listed in title, IM getting 30-50 still and it's stuttering.

 

Any ideas?

Weird maybe the game is not optimized for new hardware properly? Did you have a Nvidia card in this machine before? If so try to use DDU and remove drivers and try reinstalling all drivers to see if it's better, might also be a good idea to check AMD reddit if anyone had issues with said driver version...

Enable xmp/ dcop

Update the bios 

Check temps

I did have a card in the system until this one arrived, I think I did DDU properly.

XMP is that the ram overclocking stuff to the mhz it's rated at? and latest bios, ill have to check. temps seem Fine I think,

If XMP is not enabled Ryzen chips will run much slower, it's how the cores are talking to each other is directly linked to the speed of the DDR4 RAM...

This is what CPU-Z shows on both sticks, and A-XMP is enabled on my MSI motherboard. Did I do this right?

I'd assume it's a driver issue since a lot users complain on amd cards getting low fps..just my assumption.

that model of card is great,so I don't think you have heat issues or any HW problems with it.

That's what I've been seeing, even the non sapphire nitro+ card was doing worlds better than I am, im gonna stress test some more games tonight, see if FPS is maybe just crap in this one game. Unsure.
