Ryzen 7 3700x and what GPU?

Van_Man_

I've been looking after a GPU that fits my needs paired with a Ryzen 7 3700x and 32 gb of ram. I'm planning on doing light video editing, school work and playing video games.
What I think may work:

1. Nvidia rtx 2060

2. Radeon RX 5700 xt

3. Nvidia gtx 1660 ti

Monitor resolution and refresh rate is 1080p and 180 hz

What monitor resulution and refresh rate are you using?

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.

The radeon rx 5700xt would be best in all scenarios, but the price is about 80 dollars more. The 8gb that comes with it will be better for games, 6gb may not be enough for the highest settings in tripple a games.

5700XT is the most powerful with the worst drivers.

2060 Super would be a decent choice, 2060 is kinda meh.

IIRC the 1660 Super is almost as powerful as the Ti for usually quite a bit less.

Looking to spend a total of around 1500 USD, 500 USD on the GPU alone.

If you have 500 bucks for the GPU just go for the 5700xt

PC: Motherboard: ASUS B550M TUF-Plus, CPU: Ryzen 3 3100, CPU Cooler: Arctic Freezer 34, GPU: GIGABYTE WindForce GTX1650S, RAM: HyperX Fury RGB 2x8GB 3200 CL16, Case, CoolerMaster MB311L ARGB, Boot Drive: 250GB MX500, Game Drive: WD Blue 1TB 7200RPM HDD.

best GPU for 1080P is 1660 Super(1660ti is more expensive but performance only 2% higher than super), recommend this one, it's with lowest power consumption

CPU: i7 4790K OC 4.7GHz @1.275V

MOBO: ASUS Z87-PLUS
RAM: G.SKILL RIPJAWS DDR3 8Gx2 1600MHz OC 2133MHz (11-12-12-32)
GPU: NVIDIA GTX 1660 SUPER

I recommend getting the RX 5700XT, all the other cards won't take as much advantage your 180 Hz Monitor as they'll struggle to output that many frames.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.
