Best CPU Fan Position

Hello everyone, i have CM 212 EVO cpu cooler.Since ive done some overclocking im getting higher temps and for that purpose ive bought 1 more Cpu cooler Fan(a bit better one). My question is , on which side should the better cooler be and why , i intent to keep them both still on cpu cooler its just the orientation im confused,BF=betterfan, WF=worsefan , <BF<CPU<WF< or <WF<CPU<BF<. I know the question is kinda confusing but my english aint the best, thank you

Your best bet is to try both configurations and look at the same stress test.

If the better fan is blowing though the cooler from right to left, and worse fan is "sucking" whatever it can, from CPU cooler and all the heat is directed at the case  exhaust fan, it's all good.

The difference between these configuration would likely be very, very small, you probably will not notice. As long as the airflow is all going in the same direction, the fans will do their jobs.

Neither. An extra fan on a 212 EVO will do nothing for you other than increased noise. The heatsink isn't thick or dense enough for push/pull to make an appreciable difference. I'd put the better fan on the 212 and mount the weaker fan as an additional intake or exhaust, depending on your system's current airflow.

well, my own tower sees a small benefit from the second fan, it's worth experimenting to see if the second fan improves temps

 

currently using the 212 evo with the stock fan and an RGB Riing fan.

Huh, interesting. I was running a 212 EVO with matched dual fans on...I think...an FX 8350 in one of those CM HAF monsters from the early 2010s. I saw no difference, but the HAF 932 was basically a massive cheese grater with perfect airflow anyway.

 

Goddamn, I miss that case. There are a few decisions I wish I could have back, and selling that case is one of them.

An additional fan can definitely help but whether the difference is easily seen depends on how it's tested. 

 

@Asukaa What fan did you get? From an old LTT video, it seems like the fan with more static pressure would be better in push.
