Virtual soundboard distortions

So, I got a virtual soundboard called Death Counter and Soundboard, and when I play it the audio is normal for at least 2 seconds before becoming distorted and quiet. Any fixes?

After looking online im not seeing anyone else with these issues (didn't look hard but shouldnt need to). Assuming it is completely virtual it could be similar to voice banana. I had a similar ish issue and my fix was reinstalling the driver. Please give some more details though. How is this installed (driver, program, or both)? whats you operating system? Does this happen regardless of the destination (discord, obs, etc)? along with anything else you can think of.
