Hi all,

After viewing Taran's 2 massive video editing Premiere tutorials and his use of macros, I wanted to ask if anyone has ever automated their workflow in either Premiere Pro and Davinci Resolve (the 2 platforms I plan on using).  I know there is some automation with some smaller and open source video applications, but is there any chance of automation with these two major commercial editing programs?

Best,

Eric

I prefer working with Wondershare's Filmora9 video editing software, it is very easy to learn the interface and packed with features if you want more advanced control options:

no need to automate. you should be able to get  a cut down in minutes after some time.

I"d drop PP and just use resolve

The Resolve studio has an interface for macros and scripts, but i dont use that. So if you wanted you could write a script or something, but imo the editing is fast enough.

I only see your reply if you @ me.
