Revised parts list - opinions ? :D

Hi again xD,

Recently I have made many parts lists for a £750 budget system and asked for opinions on the forum (which has been a great help :D) and I now have my final revision. I'm trying to target 1440p gaming (60fps+), mid cad/rendering work and light-mid work in the adobe suite. I live in the UK and would be looking to purchase in August as this is a replacement for my recently deceased system.

Ignore the psu, its just a price place holder until a nice unit is back in stock. I also have an SSD to throw in so I don't need to worry about storage :D. Other than that, a few of the parts on pcpp are a little over priced, however, I know roughly when they go back down to their normal price so the budget would be £750.

All opinions, recommendations, help etc welcome!

Many thanks in advance,

Stay safe,

Lex

RX 5700 over the 2060 as it performs the same as. A 2070.

Also get a CX 550 or S12III 500W

The 2060 non Super is left in the dust next to the 5600 XT

Blame Nvidia. The whole Super nomenclature should have just been "Ti" as before. Now we have Super Duper Ti KO

Think you mean 5700XT and wouldn't say in the dust, the 5700XT sits pretty much straight in the middle of the 2060 and 70 super cards. around 10% slower than the 70S and 10% faster than the 60S.

Also the 5700 doesn't perform the same as a 2070 it performs around 5% slower than a 2060S which in turn is a couple of percent down on the 2070. Overall leaving it "in the dust" in your own words. I would still get the 5700 if you don't want PhysX and gsync but 5-10% is still 5-10%.

Dirty Windows Peasants :P ?
