I included the parts list I already have in the link above. As far as I can see it's all compatible and is about the speed my buddy wants. Are there any spots I can cut costs to improve others? Or just overall save money? Thanks!

Your PCpartpicker list has a lot of parts that are out of stock and are not included in the price. Also somethings you're paying way too much the 1660Ti should be ~$300 not $600, and the case should be a lot cheaper for that price point like ~$70.

Few things I would change:

- You must get an SSD, even just a 240gb one for Windows and a few games.

- That's a really bad price for the R5 2600. Only buy it if you can save another $30-40. The 3600 is only $5 more and gives far better performance.

- I would suggest the 5600xt instead of the 1660ti. Both are good but I think the 5600xt has the edge.

for me it shows all parts with a price, it comes to $1213.78 and the case shows at $69

 

but yes a lot of parts are out of stock and have been for like the last month lol. I was lucky to snag the mobo that I did.

Are you viewing the right link? For me the card is $300 and the NZXT case is $70. Also everything says its in stock

The build @Oswin came up with is significantly better, however I'd change out the PSU for a 550W unit, ditch the HDD and get a 1TB SSD.

Grab some items used. I got my G933 refurbished on eBay for $35. Came sealed in refurb packaging, works flawlessly.

You can probably find a better monitor on eBay as well. I bought a 32" 4k monitor with GSync for my roommate last year for $115.
