Forum emojis on mobile

Hi, 

     One of the things that I’ve noticed is there’s no emoji button on the mobile site, and I have problems finding the emoji that correlated to the one I want on the forum, 10/10 would be appreciated if this became a feature.

AMD blackout rig

 

cpu: ryzen 5 3600 @4.4ghz @1.35v

gpu: rx5700xt 2200mhz

ram: vengeance lpx c15 3200mhz

mobo: gigabyte b550 auros pro 

psu: cooler master mwe 650w

case: masterbox mbx520

fans:Noctua industrial 3000rpm x6

I think on mobile, emojis would be handled by your system keyboard of choice. Does your keyboard not have an emoji button?

It does, but they differ from the forum emojis, and often just have an empty box

Emojis are string of characters that render as images. Editor has the button on desktop as you don't have shortcut in desktop keyboards for them. Could you show example of which emoji is not available on mobile? As they do render differently between systems and browsers.

If you just want one emoji added to your post (and can't find it using colon (:) and then typing something), try flipping your phone to landscape mode (sideways), which should make the normal emoji panel appear.

In my experience, the emoji panel is quite slow, so it may be worth learning a couple emojis' shorthand (like colon + P = :P, etc.)

If you use system emojis, they should be substituted for the forum emoji style when you submit the post. Is that not happening?

It is i just have difficulty finding the emoji that correlates and they often show up as boxes, probably an issue with iOS.
