Ryzen 3 3300x or Ryzen 5 3500x ;

Which one will be better ?

Currently using 1300x with gtx 1660 ;

Main purpose fps gaming (apex, R6, COD warzone) and few games like battlefield, Rise of the tomb raider, Metro .. ;

I don't need the pc as workstation but I do multitasking while gaming.

Generally for gaming the 6/6 will be better due to the higher single core performance. However many applications are utilizing multi-threading, including gaming.

At me or quote me, I want to hear your opinion.

With the higher clocks of the 3300X, it would serve you better. Multithreaded difference in performance is minimal.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k (won) - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Kill Trident Z RGB - Force MP500 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - The venerated Hyper 212 Evo (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G2 650W - Black and green theme, Razer branwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

Linux Proliant ML150 G6:

Dual Xeon X5560 - 24GB ECC DDR3 - GTX 750 TI - old Seagate 1.5TB HDD - Dark moded Ubuntu (and Win7, cuz why not)

How many watts do I need? Seasonic Focus threadUserbenchmark (Et al.) is trash explained, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

Not a huge difference between the two. I would honestly go for the cheaper option and spend the leftover money on your videocard (which you will see a difference in gaming in)

The 3500X was pretty popular in India too, so I don't doubt Bangladesh and other South Asian countries also got it.

I'd side with the 3300X, as it consolidates all cores to a single CCX (6 core is guaranteed to be split), has significantly higher speeds (+200 MHz across the board), and SMT may have more gains than 50%. (My Athlon 3000G is ~ +68% in CPU-Z. Obvi workload dependent.) The only real downside is in applications which don't play well with SMT (getting fewer and fewer), and the lower amount of cache.

When the difference between 4/8 and 6/6 is minimal, you don't purchase either chip.

3600/ 3600x is expensive in my region. 3600 is around $80 expensive than 3300x and I'm in a tight budget !

I would go for the 3300x due to the better core configuration and similar multicore performance, the 3500x will be worse for gaming overall.
