It should be available in around 1-3 Months from what I have seen 

But what do you have now ?

Do you need a system badly now ?

It will cost more than 3600X and run a bit faster out of the box with better silicon quality. But if 3600 vs 3600x taught us anything, is that the cheapest CPU for the same core and thread count is always the better deal.

 

So basically, leave the 3600XT to the "absolute max frame rates" gamers.

I didn't read alot if articles about it but I thought it would be like the 3300x and the 3100

Like a different ccx arrangements or chache layout or a better imc

it's incredibly asinine to name a CPU the same as a GPU.  3600XT and 5700XT, for example.  Which is a GPU and which is a CPU?

Nah, 4 cores per CCX still holds as it's still Zen 2. Better binned dies, that's it.

 

Of course if AMD managed to crank bigger FCLK and UCLK out it will be great

I’m hopping that there will be more overclocking overhead, instead of just higher binned chips, might make it worthwhile to upgrade if there’s some 4.5ghz boost clocks, and potential to reach higher with overclocking.

AMD can't yet afford to market their chips with lower frequencies than they can absolutely squeeze out of them, to leave room for OC.  Soon hopefully.

I doubt there will be more OC headroom, it's likely just as maxed out from the box as existing Zen 2

But honestly I just hope prices for current zen 2 chips get lower 

Obviously that didn't happen with the 3200g but in that case an apu has a completely different  purpose

@TofuHaroto i am in need of a system super bad...running a 10year old laptop (1st gen i7) hahahha 

the mobo i have is Gigabyte x570 aorus pro... no cpu yet....i can wait about a month...

got the parts ready for my system...only cpu left...

@Jurrunio as far as i realised, they're pretty much the same, only

3600XT base frequency> 3600X base frequency > 3600

and i hightly doubt about much of OC on amd , and im not interested in OC at all.

@Dedayog hahah yea i know kinda stupid naming ...i was set for a 3600x , but im just curious whether worth the wait, and few bucks higher wont mind it "IF" it would be worth it.....

@Letgomyleghoe the just increased the base frequency so can compete with 10th gen intel i5 single core performance... thats all

If you already have the board just go for the 3600

@TofuHarotothe original decision was the 3600x...but now the next gen stuffs are coming, im kinda worried more, cuz the next gen consoles will have 8Core 16 thread...so the upcoming games will be more utilised to use that amount of cores so, a 6core 12thread might not last as long...omg im going crazy hahahah ... i need help

I think you're overthinking and making assumptions.

 

People are gaming on 6700K's and 7700K's no problem, so just because consoles have more cores doesn't mean games magically will utilize them.  There's a fair bit of programming magic needed to make a game run on so many threads properly.

@Dedayog hahah yea i definitely am overthinking waay too much...as i do pretty much in everything in my life...3600x or 3700x or wait for XT, i will be buying in june maybe 1st or 2nd week of june...
