Should i buy another kit of ram?

So i bought 3000herz  ccl15  4x8 sticks of corsair vengance lpx for when ryzen 4000 comes out. Should i replace it with a higher clocked kit with the same timings or should i just keep it and upgrade way down the line?

(Edit: I bought them a while ago because it looked like ram prices were going up super high which they did for a short time)

try to oc to at least 3200mhz or 3400ish mhz.

i plan to try but it will be a first time. i do plan on having a fairly high end board so i hope it works out

Thaiphoon Burner can tell which ram die your ram have. See "Die Density/Count" for die type. In the picture example the RAM stick's Manufacturer is Samsung and the RAM chips are B-Die ("8 Gb B-die...").

well i dont have a board to put it in so that will be difficult.

Oh.........My guts are telling me to return it. You should have gone with at least 3200mhz cl14/16 or 3600mhz ram. 

 

Why purchase ram without motherboard? The ram could be doa, you know?

Cant return it. Well my original intention was to upgrade alot earlyer but then well covid and such. And yes im aware of that fact its a risk but it was get ram at a good price or possably spend out my ass for it later.
