Suggest me CPU and processor under 170$

I have RX 570 4GB version. I play on 1080p 75Hz monitor. After 2 years i will go directly to 1440p 144Hz.

Now i have 170$ to buy a mobo and Cpu that will work enough for 1080p 60fps around for witcher 3, cyberpunk etc. for 2 years.

For my budget there are 2 CPU options.

Ryzen 3 3100

or

Ryzen 5 1600

Is MSI b450m pro m2 motherboard ok for this build? As AMD stated, if B450 motherboard work for 4th gen ryzen, then it will be a bonus for me in future.

i recommend 3300x, its insanely good CPU for slight incrase in price, all cores are on same CCX, whic provide much stable and smoother gameplay cuz of no latency between CCX, cuz theres only one CCX,

 its literally on par with r5 3600 6c12t CPU

Yeah i know. But it is out of my budget. 3300x is so powerful. I need only 60fps in 1080p with my RX 570.

Get the 3100 and an ASRock B450 Pro4 then

What is the difference? Asrock mobo is 100$ in my region. But msi is only 85$.

The Pro4 is much better. The BIOS is better and has actual VRM heatsinks. The MSI B450 Pro M2 is crap

If ASRock release a beta bios yes. The MSI one won't have such a thing

There is no official update yet. As AMD said it will give bios update to all b450. I ordered msi pro m2 Max because it is in my budget and cheap.

It's cheap because it's crap. the VRMs are horrible and have no cooling. The MSI Pro M2 won't support Zen 3 as it is physically incapable of powering anything past a lower clocked six core.
