*** So I built my new PC with all new parts and for some reason I cant get my GPU to work on the top PCIE X16 slot but it will work on the bottom PCIE X16 slot. When I try to boot the PC with the GPU in PCIE X16 slot 1 (top one) i get a VGA boot error on the motherboard. It will work fine when on the bottom slot but wont work on the top slot. I tried the GPU in a different PC and it worked fine on all slots. Is there something with the GPU and the motherboard compatibility that is causing the issue to happen or is it just a issue with the hardware itself?

Check the BIOS PCIe settings. Sounds like it might be reallocating lanes. Do you have an m.2 SSD installed. Are you also using a SATA SSD

Update the BIOS and reset CMOS. MSI's X570 boards are notoriously crappy.
