Is chipset driver needed?

Hey there! I am going to clean install tomorrow and I was wondering if the chipset driver is needed. I currently have mines installed via the amd website but it was to update my bios. Anyways, is it needed?

Yes. But windows 10 will generally download the latest "approved" version and install it automatically.
