Yes. 2700+2070 is fine.

Zen 1 is now old and it's imc is shit and it has a lack of ipc

Zen + it's basically a 3600 just with more cores and the same ipc but shit imc 

Zen 3 the best one 

A "ryzen 7" doesn't mean anything

Depends on which ryzen 7. The 3700x and the 2070 are a great pair.

I think you are missing the point ._.

 

Depending on your workload, it could either be brilliant or terrible.

If you are running simulations on your CPU, a better GPU won't help. And if you are primarily using your GPU, a better CPU usually only gets you so far.

 

But all in all, they tend to go quite well together.

Depends on the model and generation of the Ryzen 7 CPU, for example a Ryzen 7 3800X would be great with a RTX 2070 without any bottlenecking concerns in the majority of applications, although not as much so with a Ryzen 7 1700.
