Does anyone know if the dell optiplex 990 sff have a standard motherboard to swap the case?

Nope. Most of these small form factor machines have odd ball motherboards.

 

 

If it was an Optiplex 990 MT, then I think the board should be a standard m-ATX layout

I will tell you the same thing I said here in the post I will link below. "IF you're not afraid to use dremmel tool and drill and stuff you could transplant everything into another case but do you really need to? "

Will try it, cause my graphic card is sticking out hahahahaha can even close the pc, but it means I have really good airflow
