Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

Parts such as the ssd, hard drive and power supply is what i currently have and use looking to swap the power supply if i have too and wanted to check if the mother board was alright would't mind any other recommendation such as Ram.

Medium isn't a quantifiable number. You need to give a budget.

As for your build:

• Usually the X isn't worth the extra cost, just get the 3600, spend the difference elsewhere
• Get a 1TB SSD, and get an HDD later
• Get a better PSU; consult the LTT PSU Tier List for advice
• I'd invest in a cooler

I'd hold off on the cooler if budget is a major concern. Stick with the stock cooler and if things get too loud then look at investing in another cooler. I know the X has a better cooler over the 3600 but yes, if the non-X is $20 or more cheaper then go with that.

The X's cooler isn't good enough to warrant the extra $20.
