I can't say whether or not it's a scam but they look suspiciously like every other airpods clone to come out of China. In the same price range I'd recommend the KZ S2 that just released, unfortunately I purchased the S1 right before they released the S2 so I'm a little bit annoyed at that but they sound miles better than the cheap airpods clones that it looks like this company uses. Remember also that shady companies often send higher quality parts to reviewers so that there is positive press to trick customers into believing the product is better quality than it is, not saying that's happened here but it isn't inconceivable.

It’s not a scam l recurved mines tiday

I actually just received my two pairs today after about a month. They are pretty decent headphones for $30.   But the whole process is pretty sketchy not gonna lie.  But hey I got them the look legit and feel pretty good.

I just wanted to share I myself jumped on the offer when I say Kylie promoting the nova play pods then I came across your page and read the comments and I thought to myself what did I just do, I called my bank and requested a dispute, in fear that it was all a scam, thankfully it was not a scam I received both my pods a black and a pink one it did take over a month to receive and when I would reach out to their customer service their responses were going to my promotion/spam emai here is a picture of my pods received hope it helps.

Hi LTT community,

I usually don't write or post things online, but yesterday evening my girlfriend showed me a celebrity advertising discounted wireless headphones and it seemed fishy to me. I need help people spreading the word to stop this.

The story was published on instagram by @kyliejenner (apparently a big celeberty in US), not sure how one can see it if not using the Instagram app, and the person is advertising "Nova Play" wireless headphones with 70% discount using a promo code. Nothing crazy here.

It started looking more fishy when I saw the website and it said free shipping worldwide and the headphones cost only 39$, and that they have 150k happy customers and the website had only 5 star reviews.

Then I tried googling for reviews of this product - nothing, not even a picture in google images. This is odd.

Then I checked the who.is of the domain name "nova-play.com" and it is registered on 31st of April, only 1 month ago. Interesting.

All of their social media pages have post not older that 4h of May, and in some social platforms like Instagram all the posts are made on 4th of May. Even more interesting.

Tried searching online the company name that is listed n their website and also didn't find anything. Something is not right.

At this stage it looks either they managed to get 150k customers in less than a month, or this whole product is fake.

I need the help of this community to either tell me that this is a real product, or help spreading a word about this fake product so that people don't get scammed.

Thank you all!

Hey there so I purchased the pink ones using the Kylie Jenner code, and I received them in just under 2 weeks or so. I got them for my daughter for her birthday and they’re great, she loves them and the quality is awesome. Sorry you all are iffy about it, but it really is a great product. Also they’re like a matte finish so it feels and looks really cool too.

Anyone getting a self-promotion vibe from this thread? lol.

Either way, they aren't gonna have good sound quality. It's pretty clever making them feel good in your hands and ears, as Placebo effect makes your brain think they sound good. But I can guarantee they will not.

Main speaker setup is now;

Mini DSP SHD Studio -> 2x Mola Mola Tambaqui DAC's (fed by AES/EBU, one feeds the left sub and main, the other feeds the right side) -> 2x Neumann KH420 + 2x Neumann KH870

(Having a totally seperate DAC for each channel is game changing for sound quality)

Hi,

I ordered these headphones 40 min after Kylie promoted them on snapchat. They arrived in about 15 days. They work great and are a perfect fit for my ears. I dont kno why people are freaking out, I've been using these for a week or so now and they are great!

I do find it odd that they shut down the store but I'm assuming its because they didnt have enough product to meet the demand when kylie promoted them.

I purchased these on the 10th of July because I saw Kim Zolchiak Bierman advertising them.  I haven’t heard anything back.  I was able to track them in the beginning.  But now I can’t find anything on them nor is the website available.  I e emailed three times with no response.

So far what I can tell is that they're dropshipping the cheapest airpods clones with a silkscreened logo.
The responses here do come across sounding fake but that's probably because they wrote them to defend Kylie Jenner so they're going to come off that way.
I would bet a lot of money that the cheap TWS earbuds I have from KZ kick these out of the park, it's crazy what people will do when an 'influencer' is paid to promote something.

If these are selling for $39 with free worldwide shipping I can guarantee the ones your buddy got are much higher quality....
With the amount they spent on marketing their margins have to be massive to make a return.

Okay, so I purchased these wireless headphones last year on May 26 of 2020. Black, Wireless, and they had a matte feel to it. I’m pretty sure the color was black nova. They arrived on June 16th of 2020, so like about 2 weeks later. They seemed perfect when I got them in the post, the company actually did live up to their statements about the sound quality and how efficient they were. On this exact day they stopped working. The headphone pieces, left and right, do not connect to my bluetooth anymore, although the earpiece holder does charge and is always on with a steady green light to show that they are functioning. I dropped them to the floor by mistake before they stopped working, also I don’t think they fell that hard for them to stop working, but they were $40 so it was expected at some point. I’ve read some of the posts attached to this thread and can agree that the company is not contactable at all. They do not have their website online from where I placed the order. I also found out about the headphones from a promotion post on Kylie Jenners instagram. I also remember the video from her post being VERY low quality, so it makes me think if she was hacked or something like that. This was my experience with the headphones, hope it helps anyone somehow.
