Display issue from GPU

Incredaboy59

GPU: MSI RTX 2080 Ti

Was in the middle of game then all these lines popped up and PC froze had to shut down manually and when I rebooted all these lines and display options wasn't available no more.

Uploaded some PICS if anyone can help out.

I play at 3440x1440 and that option is no longer available. The last pic i uploaded is 1920x1080 and the lines start to come out. Tried 1600x1200 and same thing.

Right now im on 1360x768 and that works fine for me.

Cable is display port and i tried hdmi and same issues happens at 1st i thought it was my monitor so I tried a different one and same thing happened.

Updated the driver and nothing.

Looks like the beginnings of a dead GPU

Worth doing a reinstall of display drivers anyway:

Most graphics card issues can be solved by uninstalling and reinstalling your GPU drivers. If you haven’t done this yet (or haven’t used Display Driver Uninstaller to remove drivers), I’d recommend using Display Driver Uninstaller, found here: https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html (download links at bottom of page) and I’d recommend using the “Clean and Restart” option.

Once this is done, you can download new drivers by clicking on the links below and selecting your hardware.

Looks a whole lot like a dying gpu, I would contact MSI and request an rma, if you bought it new retail it should have a 3 year warranty.
