Spilled soda on power cable

Nod Narb

I just spilled soda on a sata power cable and one of the ports got soaked. Was wondering if it would be fine if it dries or am I gonna have to get a replacement.

Use a toothbrush & isopropyl / rubbing alcohol to clean the SATA port, including brushing carefully & gently inside the port, then let it sit to dry for a few hours somewhere warm. If the PSU was on when you spilled the soda, there's a chance the port is fried if the PSU doesn't have short-circuit protection built in.
