Need help with a prebuild from ALDI

I was wondering if lowering the Temps inside the PC with Case Fans would make a difference.
Also, how much Temperature would be expected with the current setup? how much do you think would change with 240mm?

Ok, I have one last question before I go research on my own again. you all have been super helpfull, thansk for that!

I went to the Manufacturers Website and they have a simular build but with a 360mm Watercooler. the only thing Im not sure about is the Grafics card:
MSI NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER VENTUS XS OC

Could anyone tell me what the VENTUS XS OC means?
From what I could find it seems to be smaller, but a bit more powerfull than "Standart" RTX 2080 SUPER while drawing less electricity (6 pin vs 8 pin).
Are there any drawbacks with the size?

Yes, I'm running custom water cooling, It can really help with overclocking, I have an i5 8600k and I got it to 5.3 GHz, the 240 mm rad I have would have been enough if I had delidded the CPU.
In my opinion a 120mm cooler can handle a 9900k, not well but it can. Undervolting can help with temperatures (it's like overclocking, but instead of getting higher clock speeds you get lower temperatures on the cpu). In gaming the cpu doesn't get really hot, if in prime95 (a well known stress testing tool) the cpu reaches 96c in gaming it generally won't go over the high 60s mid 70s, hell, for a wile i ran my cpu at 4.8 GHz on a 92mm air cooler

PSA: No, I didn't waste all that money on computers, (except the main one) my server cost $40, the intel NUC was my old PC (although then it had 8GB of ram, I gave the bigger stick of ram to a person who really needed it), my laptop is used and the second PC is really cheap.

I like tinkering with computers and have a personal hatred towards phones and everything they represent (I daily drive an iPhone 7, or a 6, depends on which one works that day)

So undervolting decreases the ammount of electricity the chip gets, right? So it will decrease performance.
This might sound dumb, but couldnt you basically "underclock" for the same effect? Im trying to understand the Idea behind it :)

Funny enough, another regional variant seems to have proper cooling (360mm Radiator), but then has an XS Variant of the GPU, which as far as I read leads to higher temperatures. I kinda hope its a typo and my ALDI also gets the 360mm

Note you'd obviously also have warranty on the parts, just not on the whole system. And that can be a good thing, if a part fails you can RMA just that and find a loaner in the meantime to continue using the machine, when you get whole machine warranty you basically have to ship it out and be without it for a few weeks.

Eh, my 9900K has been folding for days at 4.5-4.6 under an NH-L9i.

 

But that's because the system is a tiny SFF, if I had a full case for it I'd put proper cooling and as long as there's appropriate room I wouldn't be happy with a subpar cooler.

For that there is the NH-D15s which is the lower in height version of the NH-D15,

The NH-D15s is 160mm which is compatible with the case and is cheaper than AIOs with similar performance.

Ill have to look this up in the case of this offer since they give you 3 years on the system. Im not sure if that extends to all the seperate parts as they are or just the complete system. Thanks for the tipp though, ill check out if that would work :)

nope, when running stock the cpu gets more voltage than it needs, if you keep the same clock speed the performance will be the same, but the power consumption lower.

Power consumption is determined by 3 factors, Voltage, Temperature and clock speed
