500w from 350w psu Fire?

So I bought a pre-built gaming pc but didn’t know about the wattage being 350 so I bought an gtx 1660 Super double fan. And I also currently have an fx-8350 Inside.
I bought an EVGA 500 W1 psu. I really don’t want to damage my graphics card or the cpu. Should I be worried with this config?

@LividXY If you're still using that "350 Watts" PSU. If you're using the 1660 Super, Not only your system will not be reliable. Your system might BE DAMAGE if you're using 1660 Super. Pre-built makers only put only the wattage enough for the system they're building. So they can earn more money.(limit the upgradibilty so we consumers need to buy a whole new PC from them) Yeah, you should be worried with the "350 Watts" PSU. Put the new PSU will be good. Edit: You should get a another new PSU, Corsair or Thermaltake or anything with 80+ Bronze and the first thing when I see when I search"EVGA W1" is "For how long could a EVGA W1 500W PSU last? Is it really that terrible?"

The evga w1 series isn't much better and cannot deliver it's rated power safely. I would return it and get a better unit.

Where can you buy from and which country are you in? This way I could look around for something decent. In the meantime don't use the 1660 in your system tho.

Yeah, but if you spend more money on a PSU, it will be better down the road. and "more money" I don't mean like 80+ Titanium. 80+ Bronze should just be fine

Prices are wack right now due to the coronavirus so the lesser known psu's that are good are about the only ones not going nuts in price.

Overkill but you get 100w more headroom for 5$ so why not.

It's rated for full power at 40C, and it was able to deliver that in the reviews on Jonnyguru

That 500W EVGA can run easily the 1660 Super. Is it tops in terms of quality no. But no issue running that card with it. It's not like it's an Apevia, Raidmax, Coolmax or some other terrible brand.

Brand is irrelevant, Raidmax and Apevia have better PSUs than EVGA W1.

The price is reasonable on this one, but the shipping is high ($20) which sort of makes it average out:

Yea i also found this one, Im scared that 450w wont be enough if i want to upgrade later on.  Do yall think that 450watts is good for my pc for a while?

is the one i found any good? and im scared of using ebay

450W will be enough now, but without knowing your upgrade path, who can say?

This is just a +50W version of the one in your first post.

If your budget is $75 max then this is the best option I see. At least on Walmart.

ig i can do 100 max including shipping and taxes.  Later i plan to switch to an am4 motherboard and just switch the cpu and ram for better ones that are am4 compatible.
