If you have an OEM key, changing your motherboard may invalidate your license. Otherwise, you should be fine.

Assuming you're referring to the drive with your Windows install, note that it is generally recommended that you reset your Windows install if you decide to change platforms.

Ensure the motherboard supports your cpu

You should be fine to use the same hard drive.

Also check Linus' video on why they pirate windows, as it shows what parts can usually be swapped and have windiws still work

If you tallking about WIndows. No, you dont need a new Key.

And yes, you can of course use your old HDD, if it isnt IDE.
