Im Running 1680x1050, Upgrade To 1920x1080?

LessThanSatisfactory

I want to upgrade to a 1080p 22" monitor, my current monitor is 21". Is there a large enough difference for a student to invest in one?

Build: Fx-8120@4.1ghz,  Gtx770@1.0ghz,  16gb Patriot memory,  Cheap case from thermaltake

It depends on what your uses are. If you edit high resolution images, or if you are a hardcore gamer who can afford to spend $150 on a decent IPS 1080p monitor, then consider it. If not, then it's not like you will be forbidden to upgrade screens ever again in the future, so you could still keep that 21" 1680x1050 monitor and plan to upgrade in the future.

As a student no probably not. But if you did an increased resolution with only a 1" increase would be a bit of a sharper image but nothing fantastic. I would just save your money for something better.
