I've been looking at some RAM and found these two:
G.Skill Ripjaws V 16GB 3600MHz
Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB 3200MHz
I don't really need 3600MHz but it would be nice to have and also I don't know much about die types. Any opinions of which is the better value?
I have the GSkill kit and can confirm it works with XMP on z370 and AMD 2000 and 3000-series on x470 and x570.
In general if your not planning on overclocking the RAM then with a Ryzen 2000 or 3000-series processor 3600 would be better as it would allow the Infinity fabric to clock to 1800MHz over the 1600MHz with DDR4-3200.
If you have clearance issues with an air-cooler or an AIO in a case with little top clearance the Corsair LPX are shorter.
BuildZoid's recommendation for people not overclocking:
TL;DW: Crucial Ballistix 3000/3200 for cheapskate overclockers, Patriot Viper Steel 4400 for more serious overclockers and the cheapest 3600 CL 16 kit you can find for the XMP only Ryzen 3000 guys
