Spot on monitor flickering

Pasgui9

My LG IPS monitor flickers in one spot on the top edge. The rest of the monitor works fine, just one area has an issue. It overall works well but I do sometimes notice it. Could it be physical damage? Does anyone know how to solve this?

If you have warranty, you can get it replaced. If not, then it could be due to normal wear and tear, it's most likely just one of the backlight zones starting to fail. Could be physical damage, might just be some electrical component failing.

I understand. I don't have any warranty unfortunately. Thank you.
