I am looking to keep the price around $900 and the parts I need help deciding on are the motherboard, power supply and case. Are there better options in the same price range? I am thinking of buying a better monitor down the line to make full use of the 5600 XT. Any recommendations are greatly appreciated.

I think thats a really solid build actually! Case us a pretty subjective thing, so if you like the looks of that, stick with it. mobo is a good option, I have heard great things about that board on here, and I believe its sold as compatible with your CPU from the factory which is good. PSU is fine. Its not the best unit in the world, but for your rig it matches well.

NVME don't really matter unless you want large file transfers, and the Intel 660p isn't an especially good M.2

What is a good SSD then for a similar price? I want to get the western digital blue NVME instead but the price has gone up due to stocking issues.

Are there any suggestions on a power supply?

B450 was a solid build 8 hours ago.  Right now not so much.  I’m wondering if an a series board might be more the correct thing.  It would cost less and there are a series boards that can handle rx3600s.  The tomahawk max might in theory maybe get a microcode update, but right now there’s no confirmation.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.

I updated my build with a x570 board and a new power supply. I changed the graphics card because it has better reviews.
