Fan Placement

RGBisKey

Hi all, I recently bought the Focus G case from Fractal Design but I've discovered a dilemma. The fans from my old case are far too small for this case. They're crap and loud anyway so whatever. My question is, what is the best placement for the 2 fans that the case comes with? The Focus G has mounting locations on the front (2 possible spots), the top (2 possible spots), the back (1 possible spot), and the bottom (1 possible spot because I'll be using the drive bay). I'll put a picture of the case below:

Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

The different setups won't differ much in effectiveness, but I would go one in the top front and one in the back.

You could argue putting one in the bottom front for the HDD, but those don't get too hot.

You could spend ~15 USD for two Arctic F12 fans too, to just fill up the case with fans.

Just check if you have enough fan headers in that case

I was thinking the same thing. One front intake and one rear exhaust. I'll most likely pick up some more fans in the future. I doubt thermals will be an issue regardless, just wanted to see if it would make any real difference. Thank you

Usually from 2 fans (1 intake, 1 exhaust) onward, everything is just a game of diminishing returns in terms of temperatures.

The advantage is mainly in having less sound  for the same amount of air moved.
