Z370 motherboards or z390 for i5 9600k

I am not sure which is compatible with the i5 9600k and which board provides a better overclocking experience

Both are compatible, but Z370 boards probably need a BIOS update to work.

But can give me some recommendations for z370 boards that cost around 100to 140 USD?

I have experience with only the Gigabyte Z370 Aorus Gaming 5, the ASRock Z370 Extreme4, and the Gigabyte Z390M Gaming.

The first two won't function with a 9th generation without first updating them with an 8th generation chip.
