A good external soundcard ?

I am looking for a good external soundcard

 

I alrerady used one which was described as fantastic but actually it wasnt good

Nor for gaming or music
For the music it was way too bassy

 

And for gaming the it is bassy but the suround good was pretty bad

 

I wonder if I should use give this on a try ?

Why do you need a sound card. If you wan't 7.1 surround just get Dolby Atmos for headphones.

Check out the meizu hd pro it performs bery well for a sub $50 dongle dac. Are you sure it's isn't the headphones themselves that are too bassy?

I am sure because I used many dac and some werent bassy

My inboard soundcard was also bassy

 

And strangly the cheapest dac card is the best
