What's WPS button on WiFi Adapter usb?

KENZY9

It's not necessary. It basically makes it easier to connect to things. If it's cheaper to go without it then go without. Mostly just a personal preference thing.

If your router also supports WPS, you would press the WPS button on the adapter and the WPS button on the router to connect to the wifi instead of having to enter the wifi password. It's for convenience and is not necessary.

That's a wide variety of styles. What are you looking for? Do you want one with external antenna, or slim profile like a USB drive? I'd do a search on something like Amazon or Newegg and read reviews there.

Is this for a laptop or desktop? USB wifi adapters are usually a bit crap, so if it's for a desktop a PCIe card will be a lot more reliable if you have the ability to install one.

I'm partial to TP-Link only because I've used their networking stuff before. Never used Asus networking gear and have no opinion on them.

Be sure to QUOTE or TAG me in your reply so I see it!
