Is the Huntkey Gs550 Psu any good ?

Hello everyone.

I'm going to build my very first pc and i am on a very tight budget

the only new psu that i could fit in my budget was A Huntkey Gs550

Pc Specs

Intel i3-9100F

Asus Nvidia GTX 1650 Super Tuf

G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 8GB DDR4 2800Mhz

WD Green 500gb HDD

ASUS PRIME Intel B365M A

Would that psu cause any issues with my pc ?

A few details:

The GS550 is a 450W PSU, despite "550" being in the name.

It only has 420W on the +12V rail.

It's an old double forward PSU with group regulation.

It's only 80 PLUS efficient.

It has a sleeve bearing fan.

It's from a Chinese company (second largest PSU brand in China), yet they don't even bother to get CCC certification (or UL, or TÜV or BSMI or KCC, etc)

do you recommend any psu under 40 dollars ?

Where are you located?

Can you link to the store you would likely use?

It isn't. So hopefully you either figured that out yourself before buying it or else bought a model that was significantly higher capacity than you needed.

the s12iii is rated a c on the tier list while the huntkey gs line gets a c-. unless i'm being a clown again, i'm fairly sure the s12iii is better.

Tier C is also not bad, just not recommended for big power hungry builds.

honestly, with that processor, there is gonna be some serious bottleneck. on a $600 budget, i would go for maybe a 3600 and an rx 570 then use the extra money to get a quality psu.
