2 GPU 1 PC

CaptLazarus_

Hey, is it possible to run a RTX 2060S and a GTX 560, the 560 would only be as a second GPU for F@H, on the same PC?

Afaik no, and it probably isn't worth doing, especially if this is your main rig and you want both cards in there all the time.

Yes you can do that and it's totally worth it. I've done it myself. Make sure your PSU is up to pace though.

Edit: thought it said RX560. Well for a GTX560 it still works but it's generally and old ass card and folds pretty slowly, like 20kppd max. Every bit counts tho so if your power is cheap go for it.

Yeah that's fine. See the edit though. The GTX560 is kinda slow so it depends on what you pay for electricity ;)

I used to use a GTX 1060 alongside my current RX 570 for folding, was detected automatically. You may need to take some extra steps when you get rid of the 560, though.

Trash beauty:

CPU: Xeon X5550

GPU: RX 570 4GB (defective)

SSD: Fattydove Racing 240GB

HDD: WD Blue 320GB

Motherboard: HP Z400

Ram: 6x2GB DDR3 1066

PSU: Corsair TX650
