As 5x5 Said this would be a solid system, BYO Hard drives though.

EDIT: It would pay to shop around for some better deals than what Centrecom has to be honest.

That's odd, I've seen it run 3800 fine. Are you sure the issue isn't the RAM itself?

I want to get into the taste of streaming but I don’t have a sufficient pc to do so.

What is your current PC? We might be able to work with something to get good streaming quality.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

If you add more ram and maybe a new gpu and all you want is 1080p 60fps on medium settings, you can do that

Wouldn’t any better of a gpu bottleneck the cpu?

Entry level gaming gpu like 1050ti, rx570/580 won’t probably bottleneck, but you probably could get a 980x or 990x for cpu

And for a 980x or 990x you could probably go up to rx 590 or 5500xt, or possibly a gtx 1060

You do realize that the 990X is still slower than a Ryzen 3 1200, right?

I being totally honest I don’t know what the case is but it is from thermaltake and I’ve a small ssd and hdd. The case has a large gap for what I think is for the GPU good 27cm and I believe it can support e-atx boards down to m-atx?

the only thermaltake cases that are incompatible with this setup are mini ITX so you should go for this:

On top of that, I recommend:

more ram, with faster speed (I doubt you have 400MHz ram, but find some 1600 or 1833MHz ram on eBay anyway, try to get 16GB), and a decent cooler to get a mild OC going on your CPU. You can stream from the graphics card using nvenc so you should use that to compensate for the age of your CPU.

Any chance  you can save more money? No way you’re going to be able to build a 1440p PC (nevermind also streaming), for 1000 AUD (650 USD). You would need more like 1500 AUD to get a reasonable 1440p PC.

I will see about that tips on overclocking as I have never done it before
