Xbox one controller

Is it just me or does lb/rb just loose its sprigyness overtime, no pre travel and doesn’t reset, 3 controllers one with bt and 2 old versions. It happened to all 3, am I just using them wrong?

LB and RB are the clicky shoulder buttons, not the analog buttons. LT and RT are usually used for racing for example, because you can choose the throttle.

My Xbox One Controller is about 2 years of age and I don't notice any degradation on either of the triggers or bumpers, but I don't really heavily use this controller.
