Ram to motherboard support question

So i want to get this new motherboard "Gigabyte B450 AORUS Elite ATX Motherboard", when i go to check what ram/ memory, as i am new to the pc world... it says supports ecc un-buffered dimm or supports non-ecc un-buffered dimm. As i don't know what this means, all i want to know is if i can use any 16gb of ram (8gbx2) in this motherboard or do i have to get seperate special memory/ram.

Ecc is error checking and unbuffered or buffered is a whoooool different long story but you shouldn't worry about these your memory probably will work just fine with that board

Standard memory is fine, you dont need anything special.

What memory are you looking at anyways??

Corsair and G.Skill seem to be most popular.

Pick memory 3200mhz or faster with an even cas latency of 16 at xmp speeds.

Ideal timings would be 16-16-16 or 16-18-18.

G.skill aegis is a pretty good cheap dimm and ripjaws V are also decent but they are more expensive usually

That would be ideal and perfect but probably a little too fancy for a budget dimm

Not really just any watt PSU.

You don't need over-kill, and need to have enough.

Quality is important, as well as the rating.

Gold rated will do just fine.

If the PSU you look at for purchase has less than a 5 year warranty, don't buy it.

And to help pick one out, list your total system specs including fans, cooler, drives.... everything.

Just a figure I threw out there.

My Antecs came with 7 years awarranty.

Now running 10 years. + extreme cooling.

Will look to Seagate on my next purchase.

But the reason for this suggestion, is the PSU will see several PC builds. It's worth the few extra bucks ;)
