Recommended Posts

Currently I'm working on build a ryzen 3900x build with X72 NZXT liquid cooling and a 2080 gigabyte graphics card. Does anyone know which motherboard is better for this build a X570 MSI Meg Ace or X570 MSI Gaming Pro Carbon Wifi?

VRM temps aren't everything. As long as the VRMs are below ~90C and don't throttle, and is reasonably efficent, its perfectly fine. There are no practical benefits that the Ace has over a ~250$ board.

OP: neither. the Ace gets outclassed by the C8H and the X570 at its price point, and the GPC gets obliterated by the X570 Aorus Pro and the X570 Taichi. Get one of those if you want a quality motherboard for ~250$. the GPC has a weak VRM, bad features for its price point, and general low quality. It's more of a 150$ board than a 250$ one.

The Gaming Pro Carbon is trash, particularly for how expensive it is, but the ACE is good. That being said, you don't need to spend that much on a board for it to be good. I'd check out ASUS' X570-E, X570-F or TUF X570-PLUS.
